Cheniere Lake

Cheniere Lake is a natural lake located in Ouachita Parish, Louisiana. It is about 7 miles northeast of West Monroe, near the town of Calhoun. The lake covers an area of approximately 3,000 acres and has a maximum depth of 32 feet. It is a popular recreational area for fishing, boating, and water sports. The lake is also home to several species of fish including bass, catfish, and crappie. There is a public boat ramp and fishing pier located on the east side of the lake off Highway 143.
